THE DIRTY PICTURE was of the largest hits of 2011 and UTV and director Rajkumar Gupta pulled off a coup by teaming Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi in their next endeavor GHANCHAKKAR. However, only in the near past, a section of the media went overboard by stating that Emraan had opted out of the film for reasons best known to him. The news-piece came as a rude shock for fans of Vidya and Emraan both, who were keen to watch the popular Jodi yet again, after THE DIRTY PICTURE.
However, the truth is, Emraan is much a part of GHANCHAKKAR; they has not opted out of the project at all. "Emraan loves the script and both Emraan and Vidya are excited to work with each other. In fact, the filming of GHANCHAKKAR will start in August/September," Siddharth Roy Kapur of UTV sets the record straight. Well, Emraan and Vidya fans can now heave a sigh of relief!
